The market has been at the heart of Ely community life for over 800 years. We have three main markets a week: our Charter Market on Thursday, Craft, Food & Vintage Market on Saturday and a leisurely Sunday Market. Plus Ely Farmers’ Market twice a month alongside our Saturday Craft, Food & Vintage Market and Mini-Markets every Friday. Everyone is welcome and thousands of people visit our stalls every week. We will be celebrating LYLM 2024 by continuing to run our very successful, vibrant markets and provide a service to our local community every week. For the third year running, we will be starting our very popular “Foodie Fridays” on 29 March, Easter weekend. These run on the last Friday of the month from Easter to August in addition to our regular markets. From 4pm until 8pm, Foodie Fridays offer the chance to sample a range of diverse street food, listen to live music and meet family and friends for a pleasant evening.
