Cirencester is proud to have one of the oldest charter markets in the country, having been mentioned as early as 1086 in the Domesday Book. It forms a vital part of the Town Council’s policy of fostering a thriving town centre.
The Charter Markets operate between 9am and 3pm every Monday & Friday.
Cirencester Charter Market is a shopping experience not to be missed! You’ll find local, friendly stallholders with an array of stalls selling plants, outdoor furniture, wicker baskets, fresh food (including local produce), household goods and much more.
As part of Love Your Local Market, we will continue to encourage the local community to shop/buy/eat local and will continue showcasing our amazing traders. We’ll also be sharing Love Your Local Markets resources and posts.
