Nantwich Market

Market, Market St, Nantwich CW5 5DJ, UK

Nantwich Market has been at the heart of the town since 1500, with the current market building dating back to 1867. Today, the market continues to offer a wide variety of goods, including fresh produce, household items and unique local products, alongside the popular Market Café serving drinks, snacks and daily specials.

This May, Nantwich Market will be celebrating Love Your Local Market 2026 with two weeks of activities, competitions and community events from 16th – 30th May, supported by Nantwich Town Council.

To give back to our loyal customers, visitors will be able to take part in a brand new loyalty card scheme, collecting one stamp for every purchase made at the market. Once all eight stamps have been collected, completed cards can be entered into a prize draw to win Nantwich Market vouchers.

To celebrate the traders at the heart of Nantwich Market, shoppers will also have the opportunity to vote in the Love Your Local Market Trader Awards. Categories include Nantwich’s Favourite Stall and the Children’s Choice Award, giving customers the chance to recognise and support their favourite traders throughout the campaign.

To support the national Year of Reading campaign, primary school-aged children are invited to enter a Story Writing Competition inspired by Nantwich Market. Children will create a short story and original illustration, with entries displayed throughout the market during the campaign. The winning entry will be proudly displayed within the market, read aloud by the Mayor on Saturday 30th May, and awarded Nantwich Market vouchers.

Love Your Local Market 2026 is an opportunity to celebrate the traders, customers and community that make Nantwich Market such an important part of the town.
