Chorley’s popular markets date back to 1498 with the most popular market day being a Tuesday.

If you’re visiting Chorley today you will find two main markets; Chorley covered market, which makes up the heart of the town and operates four days a week and Chorley’s Tuesday market, which is located outdoors along the streets of Chorley town centre.

There are also some stalls on Fazakerley Street every Saturday and a specialist Food and Craft Market on the second Saturday of each month.
