Buxton Market is a traditional twice weekly market, the highest in England. From March to December we also have our special markets that run alongside our traditional Saturday markets; Craft, Quirky, Vintage Market is on the 1st Saturday of the month, and Special Food & Drink Market is on the 3rd Saturday of the month.
Buxton Market is run by the community. A Community Interest Company was created in 2016 and was successful in bidding for the market licence that High Peak Borough Council had put out to tender.
This year we will be celebrating LYLM through our social media and hope to have some live events too, depending on volunteer time.
