Kendal Charter Market has just received a multi million pound award from the levelling up fund to update its indoor and outdoor markets  as part of its Town centre regeneration plans.

The Market has and is still serving the towns folk and surrounding areas since its charter was granted back in 1189 and this ambitious plan will move the market forward to continue serving local and visitors to the town for many years to come.
