The High Street Market takes place in Chelmsford High Street every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday with some of the traders being present on Sundays as well.
The market offers fresh produce, flowers and a variety of home cooked street foods.

There’s fresh bread, cakes and pastries from Brown Bread. Freshly caught fish, lobster and jellied eels supplied by Young’s Fish. Cheese & Pie, a family run business sells many varieties of cheese from brie to black bombers. Another family run business is our greengrocer offering fresh quality fruit & vegetables.

No high street market is complete without its street food, of which we have plenty!! You will find Caribbean dishes from Jerk Station, authentic German bratwurst sausages & burgers, authentic vegan and vegetarian falafels and hot home made traditional food from Romania, including rolled sausages and stroganoff. We have freshly made chimney cakes, churro’s, crapes, authentic Biriyani dishes, and Nola Bayou offer traditional foods from America. Coffee Stop sells over 50 different coffee flavours and cool shakes in the summer.

Away from food, GSE Flowers boast unique flowers from Holland, which are hard to find in local supermarkets, ideal for a beautiful bouquet for that special occasion.
